Help Us Protect Your Financial Information
Ensuring your account security is a top priority for us, and we are constantly putting systems in place to keep your information secure. However, we can always work together to keep you and your account information as safe as possible. You can do your part by keeping in mind the following safeguards:
Always check your monthly statements to ensure they match your recollection and your other records. Please notify us immediately should you find any discrepancies on your accounts.
Set up digital banking so you can easily monitor your account at anytime from anywhere. Through digital banking, you can also set up alerts to notify you if we notice anything out of the ordinary.
Never give out account numbers or other personal financial information unless you can validate the authenticity of the requestor. As a reminder, UNCLE will never call or email you asking for specific information such as account number, mother’s maiden name, etc.
Update your contact information if it’s not current, including all phone numbers and your email address. It is vital that UNCLE is able to reach you to validate suspicious transactions.
Always shred personal and financial information before discarding it. If you’re unable to shred documents properly, save them in a secure place until you’re able to do so, or attend one of our yearly shred events to properly dispose of sensitive documents,
Review your credit score regularly using the Credit Score tool in your digital banking profile. You can view your score daily, which will help give you real-time updates on your score. The Credit Score tool will also let you download your full credit report which should be reviewed at least once annually.
If you believe you are a victim of fraud, please contact UNCLE at 1-800-34UNCLE to report any inconsistencies on your account.
